A unique one hour documentary covering some of the day to day activities of Canada's first IFOR commitment... 2 Brigade. The units: RCD; 23 Field Squadron 2CER; 2 Svc Bn; "G" Coy 2RCR; 2 Fd Amb; 2 MP Platoon. Implementing the Dayton Accord, NATO's Op Firm Endeavor became a unique operation deploying 50,000 troops in the former Yugoslavia. Shot in June 1996, we interviewed many of the soldiers at the three Canadian camps: VK; Kljuc and Coralici. We toured the Bihac pocket; Bihac; Sanski Most; Saint John Barracks; Royal Heights; and Prejidor. EOD demonstrations, the Cougars 76mm firing on gun camp, Bison patrolling, the Medics in Coralici are all part of the video. As well we cover the very dramatic and heroic rescue effort by our Soldiers during the Kljuc apartment fire of the night of June 20. All the occupants of the fire ravaged 9 story building survived unharmed due in no small part to the soldiers of 23 Field Squadron and the Quick Reaction Force of Camp Maple Leaf. This unique video will be appreciated by soldiers and families alike.

This documentary was not produced for broadcast use and in fact produced for our Canadian soldiers and their families. 2 Brigade in Bosnia'96 was produced by AVS Inc in Calgary, Alberta. We would like to thank each and every soldier and officer who assisted in making this production possible.
