Title: Australian Army Skill at Arms Meeting 2005 - International Shooting Competition
Post by: Carcharodon Carcharias on September 13, 2005, 00:15:29
Well, its that time again when the Army is hosting this event in Singleton, located about 3 hrs NW of Sydney, right in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country.

Its this November. Unfortunatly Canada is NOT sending a team this year, but hopefully 2006 will be a different story. Presently the following international teams are inbound for some good shooting and bonding in the spirit of competition:

Australia
England
East Timor
France
Fiji
Indonesia
Maylasia
Singapore
Papua New Guinea
Philippines
US Army
USMC

And there will be more. This is the largest international even held in many years.

A host of different pistols, rifles, carbines and machine guns in a vast variery of MOUT related firing ranges.

I'll be posting some pics, and futher info.

Regards,

Wes
