Blade Runner 2049
« on: December 21, 2016, 11:11:58 »
Dagny, this is not a battle over material goods. It's a moral crisis, the greatest the world has ever faced and the last. Our age is the climax of centuries of evil. We must put an end to it, once and for all, or perish - we, the men of the mind. It was our own guilt. We produced the wealth of the world - but we let our enemies write its moral code.

I saw this yesterday,  I can't wait for the release.   Love the original movie.

I saw the original movie, but not this trailer. I hope this edition takes us into areas explored in the later part of the book.

Agreed.  I knew that Denis Villeneuve would make a "good looking" movie but I enjoyed it even more than I thought.  The effects for Joi were amazing.

The music and effects are awesome.  You kind of need to see the first one to understand what's going on.

Hollyweird is pulling many of the films because they have done poorly, including Blade Runner.

Of course the original Blade Runner did not do so good in the theatres also. It was not till it was released on the home video market that it became a cult favourite,

I think the plan will be to rush these films out as dvd''s.

The first blade runner was a real eye opener. I felt like I was given the cold shoulder by the second one. They never say how they escaped the colonies. Why go back to Earth for more of the same? I like his daily prayers, a good way to stay in touch with god. His AI was more helpful than people, one love. Strange that the creators are always blind.

Second chances: never give one to a sniper.

and I don't give a damn
people, they stare
and they ask who I am
and if by chance I should run over a cad
I can pay for the damage, if ever so bad.
