World's oldest message in a bottle found in Oz

A German science experiment dating from 1886 to study ocean currents and drift has been found in Western Australia.  The bottle and message was launched from a Barque called "Paula" with instructions to report it's finding to the nearest German consulate or the German Naval Observatory in Hamburg.

It appears that UBC has done the same, but with a vastly more expensive 'bottle'....  ;D
