Broken Link
« on: February 21, 2005, 15:04:31 »
I'm not sure if a new thread is the right place for this but I'm not sure where else to put this.  Found the following broken link:

That's from the old forum software, so (as you found out) it won't work any more. Where did you find the link?

Found here:

http://army.ca/sticker/

Towards the bottom of the page you'll find this under the More Info section (the second bullet)

"See the sticker thread on The War Diary"

That's the broken link.

While you're at it,  the link in the 3rd bullet doesn't work either.

Anytime, and I'm really impressed with the response time.  You and the mods I've dealt with.  Awesome site.

Question:

Is there a specific thread for reporting broken links or other minor technical issues?   If there isn't one, perhaps there should be in order to limit the number of threads started for that purpose.  Although I suppose I could have just sent a private message.   hindsight....

No, you did the right thing. A PM would also have worked, but it's the same end result. Broken links (thankfully) come up pretty infrequently, so starting a new topic is not out of place.
