Advice
« on: October 05, 2006, 17:31:17 »
Hello to all you army cousins.  I just joined this forum today and I would like to personally say hello and thank you to all of you people on the ground fighting the enemy in Afghanistan.  I'm currently in NAVRES in Regina, SK. and I am going to remuster into the regular forces when I'm finished university in Dec.  I'm conflicted whether I want to stay with the navy or join the army.  This sudden change occured when I did my BMQ at Borden this past summer and there were some Reg Force Army people doing their BMQ as well and got me re-thinking my future.  I could use some advice from past or present reg force people.  I was thinking of going infantry with the intent of being a paratrooper later on.  Oh and please don't give me advice on becoming an officer, I've already received enough people trying to convince me to become an officer.  If this message is in the wrong place, I'm very sorry, as this forum seemed to be the best option for my question. Thank you
