Pilot measurements
« on: June 25, 2007, 21:19:11 »
Howdy gang,

Did a search and couldnt find anything specific regarding pilot measurements done at the DRDC. Do these measurements stay on your file, or are they just used to eliminate those who are too large or too short for more than 2 trainers? I'm not the 'I didnt fit the hawk, are my fighter chances shot!!' type, just curious as to what my operational opportunities will be.

Hi, this doesn't answer your question, but is definitely interesting.  It is a link to the DRDC's Anthropometry evaluating device.  Just a little info for others out there who are wondering what is being measured by the automated system called BoSS XXI during air crew selection.
