I gots me a simple question for any protestor.  I was wondering are you protesting cause you dont want people who basically dedicated there lives for this country not to do some very important training in your city?  So you want these soldier's who more than likely will be put intoi harms way...

Just a question I might have misread or over looked but any word as to which unit(s) these soldiers belonged to IN A-stan?  RIP to the fallen   :salute:  

We havent heard any offical word yet as to what excactly is gonna happen.  Yes TF 0207 was canned BUT, will the elements be trained as a back up? Dont know that yet.  I will say suppositly the money is gone for the required training, the Bty now is only training with what they had already rec'd...

your reference would be the  announcement that the MND made.  There will be no more new assignments to the CF therefore cancelling the possiblity of a tour.  I also know this because 1 RCHA held a parade Tuesday and well it was announced by the CO.

Now to add to this lovley list of rumors and comments wanted to add that C Bty has been told, unless something has changed over Christmas that we are going somewhere as TF 02-07.  We will be going somewhere, somehow, just dont know where or what we will be doing.  I suspect it's just a waste...

Just as an Update the new guns arrive around the 26th of NOV  we are having a "dog and pony" show on Dec 2end.

LOL Time off???  your kidding right?  Laundry will work as per normal through the QM, showers......um showers?????  JK usually there is a shower run every 2-3 days at least with us there is.

Just to add "C" Bty is not an offcial jump battery.  We take priority in the Regiment, 3 VP is kind enough to give us spots so we take them.  Got a course coming up in Nov and another in Feb.

Have to throw my 2 cents in here.  Knockin down gunners and all lol, arty isnt just 105' s anymore.  My Battery is light, we carry mortars around with the infantry guys all the time.  So really we get the "best" of both worlds.  We jokenly call ourselves "Infantillery" cause we seem to fill both...
