I am few weeks away from graduation... I haven't received any official information about my posting just yet but I have been told it will be most likely Esquimalt and I most likely wont start my QL3 for 8 months... With the course I am looking at almost 16 months in Esquimalt. I am common law...

I would say do not join until you finish high school, then apply for reg force.... Just an opinion since you asked for it...

You run between 2 cones that are 20 meters appart, it stars pretty slow and gets faster. You have to touch the line on the beep sound played through stereo. Beeps get faster as you increase in stage. Stages go up every half point. Such as .5,1,1.5 etc.. Hope that helps! Some people loose a lot...

I am at Mega right now, using my rogers iphone to tether, Speed is around 600Kb not as fast as Vancouver when I had 2100kb I am allowed electronics from Friday 1800 to Sunday 1800

For those who are wandering, separation allowance at BMQ is $13 per day minus 2 days per month. It equals to $377 non-taxed deposited separately from your salary and is paid for the month before. Eg. In March allowance will be paid for days in February.

Hi All I just wanted to let you know that I am at BMQ right now. All married/common law recruits were handed out a PLD Application and will be receiving it depending on their geographical location.

Please read the whole thread... it has been answered. You wont pay Rations and Quarters plus you will get about $400 Separation Allowance...

What level of training were you doing in Moose Jaw? QL3? My wife will be in Vancouver while I will be at Basic and then QL3 in Victoria...

I am leaving for Basic on Saturday. I am bringing my cell phone (which I can tether internet to my laptop)  and laptop (which has a webcam). That being said, I have been told, most likely, i wont see my cell phone and laptop until week 5... I will be allowed to use if permitted my instructors...
