Just a guess but you guys (and gals) also deal with current weather and short term forecast often, not like you have to brief a pilot 14 days in advance :P
Maybe you could send an e-mail, generally these people have desk jobs and check the e-mail fairly often because it seems like the primary mode of communication now in the forces. If I sent an e-mail I would guess not really more then a day or two for a reply.

I had a friend that CTed from an OS NCIOP from the reserves and was in for like 4 months before going into the ROTP. She got to keep her OS pay (since it is higher then the officer cadet pay) until the officer pay would have surpassed it.

After your 4th week you MAY get the weekends if you did a good job and your instructors judge that you earned it. That is the only time (I recall) that we could leave base and they will tell you this but just a reminder if your leaving base, fill out a leave pass... You might get evenings to go...
