    Brain Injuries

This is great to hear...the long-term costs of TBI, in terms of rehab, interpersonal violence, and human suffering are going to be high, and with us for a generation.  I hope this leads to much more rapid diagnosis and speedier recoveries (such as they are) from the injuries. I suspect we've...

    Foxtrot Litter instructions

That's the placement that caught my eye...I suspect the Pl WO or TCCC will secure the casualties wpn in most circumstances, it may be needed in the fight in someone's hands.

    Foxtrot Litter instructions

Browsing through the TacMed Solutions page today, and I noticed a "new" (been a while since I've checked out the site) video on their Foxtrot litter. http://www.tacmedsolutions.com/Videos/foxtrot_instructions_0002.wmv Also, I noticed the medics weapon placement during his assessment and pt...

The Politics of Yellow Ribbons - MERGED

I've spoken to "our guy" in the union, no results as yet. Keep in mind we're CUPE....those asshats aren't exactly supportive, even if the local and the service are.  I think I'll just send them to stations I've worked in and see what the U/C has to say.

CF "seducing and preying" upon Canadian Youth - News Clip

My Cpl at 3VP UMS "Preyed upon and seduced" me, too.  It only took 11 years to get us to the padre! On the topic at hand, hasn't this come up in the recent past?  Is this the same individual at it again, or another wing nut?  I've got CTV on in the background, and haven't seen it yet.

    Civilian Surgeons in Kandahar

We have PRes NO trying to go over, there seem to be far more hoops to jump through if you're serving then if you're not...they've also tried applying through the Civ providers, too without results. Good luck,

MacKay vs O'Connor as MND (merged)

In what way did Gen Hillier "unseat" O'Connor?  Media spin and Mister O'Connor's foot in mouth disorder did it...the man did a great job, 22 Billion in needed kit, the largest output since WWII. Keep in mind Hillier was brought into that position under a Lib government...one of the best...

Good news in Canadian Politics at last

And who can forget the Left Honourable John Turner in Vancouver?  Between the new election finance laws (and a bankrupt Liberal party) and the Rhino comeback, I'm almost looking forward to the next campaign season.

The Politics of Yellow Ribbons - MERGED

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20070811.BCRIBBON11/TPStory/National With far less controversy then I would have expected (but watch for it!) the Vancouver Police Chief, Jamie Graham, has decided that all marked VPD vehicles will bear a MFRC-donated Yellow Ribbon. He points...

B7 of the Vancouver Sun. "this is the first time it has been seen in Canada" No mention that it's the CF's first C17, and the US has had one at Abbottsford for years. More ignorance from Canada's reporters.   :-\ Letter sent to the author...
