Here in N.S. they purposely did not make plates that had the letters F-A-G even though they were the next letters to come out. So there was some forward thinking here by some one.

Then you'd get back and rear party would complain about how many duties they did while you were gone, and want the guys coming home to take over immediately. One of the RSM in the Strat's put in routine orders that rear party would continue to do duties till 2 weeks after the unit returned and...

Our BG RSM told us we could wear what we want as long as it didn't look to far out of place. Plus we are doing a lot of work in small groups spread all over the AOR.
JFM the other up side to staying in reserves while going to school is that 1) they pay money towards yours schooling 2) they will employ you in the summer so there is no need to look for a job, 3) you can start on your officer training in the summer if you can get with a unit that will take you...

Passing the BFT did the same thing with the PER except there was no exempt................unless you were a support trade and went base side the next year. Which comes back to the original point about not needing to be in great shape to pass the BFT every year and get that extra point.
I've done the take off and put routine in the past but that was in Armoured Vehicles and I was rarely getting on and off. How ever since I've been doing soft skin/up armoured vehicle recce I've taken to wearing it all the time and need to find something that works better than the issued TAC vest...
How about cleaners in the shack we use have to clear our own barracks when I first got in and our own lines at K19.
Another way to cut cost is to get rid of spec pay :worms:
