You are getting good advice here. I would add that you put the grievance away for a day or so, then re-read it. Is the emotion removed?  Did you stick to the facts and are they well explained and supported?  Do you state why you are aggrieved and what you seek as redress?  Facts and evidence win...

Nice comment. Totally agree. Very complex part of the world and labels do not work as a simple means of explanation. While I do not profess to truly understand it (does anyone??) I often wonder how complex daily life is compared to us.

Excellent question. More folks should try and become better educated on the Middle East. I agree - there is no one book. As religion is a fundamental underlying issue, just becoming better educated on world religions is an excellent start.

I would like a "citizen of Canada" approach where we pay a Fed and average Prov tax, but have a hybrid status to make interprovincial moves seamless. I know, impossible but provincial residency is a nuisance.
