You missed my point and my not so subtle advice to a young, slow eating, 5 meal a day, body building lifestyle person contemplating life in the CF. I am not getting involved with your trolling. Good luck with whatever you choose to do in life.
My comment, with respect, is that there comes a time when you must accommodate the CF vice the CF accommodating you. Under certain circumstances, life in the CF can suck. Other times it can be awesome. Roto 0 is vastly different from Roto 6.
I am officially covering my ears, yelling "I can't hear you", and stamping my feet. Do not let your facts eat into my fantasy. :o I am happy to do the theatre activation!
CFS T&C!!!
CFRC T&C!!!
Loving the idea more and more. Still irritated Bermuda closed as I joined. I am willing to wear socks up to my knees go this opportunity. :D
I would have lost this bet. I know cadpat on a cold day will be much more, but DEU is still more than I thought. But looking at the list, it is cheaper than a business person who dons a suit, dress shoes, etc. Clearly it is expensive to have any "uniform".
Canadians are doing well investing in Cuba. It is a interesting prospect. And I have never forgiven PM Mulroney for letting this go the first time around. Hot weather with the dollar at par.
I find this very interesting. Firstly, I am always amazed at what folks will render to writing. Email is being seen as something akin to personal texting ( but I am confident this is the topic of many separate threads). Secondly, I have long given up trying to change people's values, outlook...
So $700 so I can walk into my operational HQ, look all "operational", and sit in my cubicle? Excellent. And I don't even get to wear my much sought after Yukon cap. :(
Just have an overall good level of fitness. The fitter you are, the more you are able to endure without drawing on your mental reserves. You will need to draw on your mental reserves on many occasions, so do not waste those reserves having to struggle through basic physical activities. You are...
Prairiethunder made point 1. Until you are married, there is no conversation.
2. Once married, DMilC will try to co-locate if at all possible, but service needs rule. Co-location can be Pet-Ottawa vice under one roof. By being a MSC, you must appreciate you are knowingly choosing a very...
I cannot answer your question, but always keep copies of your security clearance info as it makes life easier moving forward. You will thank me in 10 years time.
I like the fact that you are asking. Military members need a strong support network they can rely on.
As an HR guy, I just wanted to manage your expectations a tad - at the risk of again being too blunt, you do not exist. The CF can barely cope with spouses (married or common law). There is...
I hate tests.... Can you consistently put the needs of others over your own? Do you do without so others have? Leadership is about humility and serving others. You give credit away but keep the blame. How fast can you apologize for someone else's mistake? Can you strip emotion from your...
Cheers Loachman for the info. But I do believe DFS should look into the poop factor. Could be a 3rd dimension in the risk matrix. I can see next year's flight safety briefing - "while the risk was deemed low, Bloggins crapped himself".
