Old Belt Buckle Identification / Help

Looks like it's a stable belt, but I can't find any units that wore RED-BLUE-RED or that kind of buckle.

The Land Operations Temperate Boots (LOTB)

Watch and shoot, I reference the ECU trousers that there's gonna be be people who are anal about old standards and spit n' polish and until there's a change in the dress regs we won't see any advancement.

    kit storage

In my basement I've got a few dozen Rubbermaid bins, alot of which hold my kit. I've got them decently organized, notably one for spare DEU items, spare sleeping kit (sleeping bag, ground sheets, etc..), and winter kit. Aside from that, I've just paid attention to the stuff I never use and...

Once upon a time, CPGear used to sell them...lately that eBay link was all I'd seen. You could just ask your nearest Mat Tech if they could make one.

    PT shirts?

Sounds like the cheap shirts you can buy at the Canex, which means that these guys at your gym may or may not be military, they just had to be on base at some point in time.

    WTB A7A Straps

I had a set of the straps from CPGear for a couple years holding my shit together, no problems. I'd say go for the "better" set tho, the buckle is larger and is alot easier to thread and release with gloves on.

I damaged DND vehicle, need advice

Somewhat related to the subject; A couple years back I was tasked by a WO in my battery to go and pick up a member from Winnipeg airport. This was in January, and my usual route is straight down Highway #1. As I set off, the highway was clear with the exception of a few small snow drifts, and I...

    canteen pouch issues

I tried the 2qt canteen in the C9 pouch, stupid idea and doesn't go well on the move at all. The drinking tubes for the canteen's, yeah, they suck too, you're not alone. I personally use Nalgene bottles in place of my canteen, it fits alot easier but you won't get a canteen cup to go with it (I...

Old Jump Ruck bag, is it any good?

You could seal the seams, or use a drybag. If you want to "update" the bag, you can look on eBay for Fastex replacement QR buckles, they'll have a broken bar on the female end that you can slip into the webbing loops without having to do any sewing.

    Changing the Tac Vest?

A year from now when we've got the new uniforms and boots, you'll only have to wait five more years before the new vests are issued. But seriously, yes, you'll still be wearing the tacvest into the forseeable future unless the trial wraps up last year and the vendor starts delivery last month.

    Prescription Ballistic lenses

If you mean to buy your own (from someone like Oakley or ESS), yes, they're made. Check the manufacturer website and usually it'll be a prescription insert that you order and take to your optometrist.
