Getting you on courses are the responsibility of your chain of command. The unit just stood-to last week and your staff are working hard to see who is going to be put where, and when. When you joined, I guarantee that you were told that enrollment was not a guarantee for being course loaded...

I'm thinking there's nothing wrong with having the motto tattooed on ya....As mentioned above, the USMC does not exclusively own the phrase, but I think it's the most recognized version of the saying. The globe & anchor though, might, and should ruffle some feathers. Those guys/gals train...

Pretty clear indication as well as to how the Sudanese Gov't would view the Liberals and Bloc's calls to take us out of Afghanistan and put us into the Darfur....That would mean we'd be invading a country that doesn't want us there.....I wonder how that'd look to all the tree huggers.

This is a problem which happens far too often in the Reserve world. I would suggest that through your Unit chain of command, you let them know of your situation. They may offer you Class A days until your course starts (It would be General Duties so not too pleasant) or they may leave you...

If you joined the Army Reserves in Vancouver, you would most likely go to STC Chilliwack, not Borden. Otherwise it'd be Wainwright. STC Chillliwack is under the command of WATC

I should have mentioned that STC Chillliwack is getting recruits from as far away as Winnipeg......You'll go where they need to send you for training. It could be anywhere that has space these days. Cheers, HH

Good day, If these are medical concerns that can be addressed, consider it a challenge and rectify them. If you want to join the CF badly enough, time and effort should not be a deterrant. There are plenty of things you can do to address these issues, but determination is key. Ask your doctor...

You can probably do most General Duties tasks, but if you ask, maybe you can do both GD & get some OJT as a clerk. I can't answer you on what may or may not be the kinds of duties you're employed in, but your chain of command (through your orderly room) can probably help you out. Best of luck, HH

Through your chain of command you could possibly request a GD tasking. It might help if you told us where you were from and what your trade is. For SQ trained pers there are duties which you can perform. Good luck. HH
