I think you're looking for the sites I found and posted here:

Cheers,

From his PM to TTG:
This gets even better. This is a reference to 44 Para Bde of the South African Defence Force, so we're up to three services now - four if his reference to "ROTC" is to the US version.
Edited to change "armies" to services...I'd never suggest the RM are "Army"!
Muskrat, I'm not sure that there's a comparison between the feeding frenzy on the thread you linked to and this one.
In the other instance, ad hominum attacks were directed against an external person who had/has nothing to do with the site and the tone got out of hand. Indeed, she was...
From Booty's site:
"Marine 7 Squadron" indeed....I smell "Airsofter".... Apparently this is "2nd Lt Martin.S.Jones of the Airborne Marines "
How interesting... ::)
A case in point, from Booty's "Airborne-Marines" site:
Is "Blair-Crawfurd" (sic?) you, Booty? What's with the JTF-2 business? Were you posted with them too?
Like a moth to a flame, here I'm drawn here for some reason...and look what I found...

The plot sickens...er, thickens... The "Airborne-Marines" appears to be some sort of Airsofter walt-fest...judging by the photos and the...
I was quite annoyed by this piece. Simpson basically accuses (if his headline writer is reflective of his intent) the CF of deliberately misleading Canadians as to the true extent of the insurgency.
Simpson's lack of knowledge is stunning, even though he bases much of his rant upon "facts". ...
Bob Rae wades in...I assume that this is official Liberal policy?

More at link...should you have the stomach.
No, she's right. It appears, by this story, that we have CF personnel scrambling around at the last minute to sort out an idiotic requirement for a brainless politician's photo op. Wonder what got bumped from the chalk to fit the cakes on board?
It's not a great story - it's embarrassing...
OK, I was a planner in theatre - first hand experience - and worked very, very closely with the US on a daily basis. Never, not once, did I see a policy of deliberately "flattening" civilian villages. You hint at "sources" and at "confidential reports", yet provide no primary sources to back...
And you've apparently extrapolated this data to Afghanistan. Perhaps you could share your methodology for doing so? Moreover, can you please provide the source that indicates that deliberate targeting of civilian villages and towns is an accepted warfighting practice for US (and, by extension...
So, a reporter, in an effort to find a "gotcha" story, dredges up what is obviously the course's internal POR - which is why "simple little things" are commented on. How, for the love of God, is this even remotely newsworthy?
T2B is exactly correct. None of the "problems" mentioned in the...
A quick intervention to point out that this is not correct. Chief of Defence Intelligence is MGen MacDonald. The civilian you're referring to is Director General, Intelligence Production - who works for CDI. There are other senior civilians within CDI, but the ultimate boss is military.
Of course, CBC is reporting that the plan calls for $490 billion in spending (link here: CBC story), without providing the least bit of context to that number. As CTV points out above, a huge chunk of defence spending is on personnel, a point lost on the Bush-bashers making comments on the CBC...
Not this again. There's no pipeline. There may be a plan for a plan for a pipeline, but nothing more... See here:

Even buried within the story itself is this gem:
...not to mention a need for a firm contract, funding, a...
While I won't comment on current ROE, ROE in other theatres (and I'm thinking Bosnia here) specifically included the obligation and authority to intervene when soldiers witnessed "major criminal activity"...
And why are padres sharing the results of their counselling sessions with the media...
Not meaning to intrude into foreign politics, but been to the UK lately? Or Poland? Or the Czech Republic? Or Denmark? There are plenty of Europeans who don't share the Brussels ideal of a bureaucratic "superstate" that usurps sovereignty from their own governments. The Irish got the...
Since Mr. Ram posts on this site, I would be interested to see his primary sources for his accusations, particularly the one that states "flattening a village" is a "standard "tactic and those that show that the US military has "underestimated" casualties in Afghanistan.
I would also be...
I have less issue with the Taliban exploiting a propaganda opportunity than with a Canadian "analyst" aiding them in doing so. Does Ram honestly believe that the US military has no idea how many of its soldiers have been killed? Or that it deliberately "flattens" villages? Or that the CF...
