If only it were a month ago...hubby and I would have been there with bells on...nothing else...just bells. ;) But alas, the sandbox called him back. Maybe we could have a do-over in the fall?
People who change thier attitude and dimeanor when see a mother out at a restaurant with her children and then overhear the family's conversation about Daddy being in Afghanistan.
When the restaurant bill gets paid or dissapears and reappears as an extra glass of wine.
My kids for being so...
Well, so far, so good...I'm watching the final showdown now...and I'm impressed by the creativity in the "outdoor living spaces".
Is it cliché that the Air Force guy designed his in the shape of a helicopter??
Hubby took pat leave when our daughter was born, well, three months later after he finished Ph 3. There was 9 months waiting time between Ph 3 and Ph 4 so he took six in Pat leave. He did ask the OR to continue his pension contributions and also to continue to take the full amount of taxes out...
It may be OP Archer for some, but all my pkgs (incl Timmies coupons) for my hubby, his brother and his girlfriend go to OP Athena...and it makes it there fine. Also, hubby's internal email overseas is OP Athena...so not everyone is under the OP Archer umbrella.

"The purpose with which you live is far more important that the years with which you live."
The sacrifices of the fallen, injured and serving won't be forgotten.
As a spouse of a deployed personnel, my heart pangs for the friends, families, Regiment, and all affected by this tragic incident.
RIP Troops! :salute:
What a crappy Easter for some families. :'(
My thoughts and prayers go to the friends and families of the fallen.
I know whole communities will be affected, may they find all the support and compassion they need.

My children are still young (5 and 4) and it is only recently that my kids have started to notice when Daddy is away. It actually took...
In the end it is his decision. Yes. But since he has asked for my full opinion, I am obligated to give it to him. I will weigh all the information I can get, form an opinion and give him my thoughts on the matter. Then he can take that and make his decision from there. In the end, he knows I...
