Well I can answer at least one pretty confidently, the Cyclone will 99.999% sure will never be stationed in Borden. They would be run out of the two bases on each coast. Also I don't mean to be rude or anything, but if you don't want to leave your hometown the CF might not be the best choice...

I am by no means an expert but I don't think the Comm Research guys are actually "posted" to a ship. They only go when there is an actual need for one.

Thinking alot of the NET trade. I am really good with computers and love everything that is computer networks, radio (got a scanner sitting on my desk right now :P) and that kind of stuff. What I would like to know is what does a daily routine look like on a ship other then cleaning stations...

Why I think alot of people complain about the MCDVs is because they are often trying to use them as patrol boats but they we're designed as a Minesweeper. No need for a minesweeper to do 30 knots.

But fido is run seperately and differently (plan whise and everyting). I would personally like Solo and I was with them before and liked them. Solo is run by bell but I don't necessarily like Bell...

Ok and would this submarine qualification course be available to members of the reserves if space was available?

Just out of curiosity a guy at work told me that reserve stoker could be employed on a submarine since they are both Diesel Electric systems. Is there any truth to this? There would probably a familiarization course or something but is this still possible? Thanks Klink
