    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Did they ask you to add on pilot because you fit the profile? Or you decided yourself?

    2013 FY DEO Pilot Selection

Thanks DAA. Is it normal that recruiters hand out flimsy information like a "mysterious 6 month window" for applying? Why were they not informed about the fact that "An applicant currently in the final year of a degree program is eligible to apply as a DEO and should be encouraged to so do."...

    Problems with searching

Hello, I would like to report that for the last week or so, regardless of the time of day or night, every time I try to use the search function I receive this message: "Due to high stress on the server, the search function has been automatically and temporarily disabled. Please try again in a...

    2013 FY DEO Pilot Selection

Hey guys/gals, I spoke with a recruiter at the CFRC in Montreal, I was informed that I should only apply 6 months prior to the completion of my graduation date (in my case this would be June 2014). This conflicts with responses (in this thread) which recommend me to apply right away. Thoughts...

    2013 FY DEO Pilot Selection

Hello all and happy holidays! My question is simple, I will be graduating from a civilian University in December 2014. I would like to know, in your experienced opinions, when would be the best time to begin a DEO application for the pilot trade? I plan on visiting my local CFRC after the...

    Wanted: Engineers

I applied as an Eng O (only trade) for ROTP this year and didn't receive any offer as of yet despite being told that I had a competitive file. I heard in some rare cases people receive calls this late in the game. Here's hoping to miracles!

Applied to the CFNRCC: What to expect?

If you will have more than 18 months left to graduate until obtaining your degree as of April 1st 2013 than you qualify for ROTP and you can try applying that way. if this is the case, I highly suggest you do so this way. If not, you have other options and speaking to a recruiter about them...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

You are absolutely entitled to your opinion and are absolutely allowed to share it, especially on the internet. What someone shouldn't be doing however is stating that they know something for fact when they don't. In these forums, its against the rules. Hearsay has proven to be time and time...

For anyone reading this, I would take this post with a grain of salt. Best confirm something like that with an experienced recruiter.

    Eye exam? possibly wrong?

Last time I saw my optometrist these are the numbers he gave me for the Imperial Snellen chart. With my right eye I was able to read all the way to the bottom line, left eye I think I made it to the 5th line with no miskates. Left eye = 20/40 with slight astigmatism. Right eye = 20/20

    Eye exam? possibly wrong?

Well I was merit listed for a combat arms trade so I'll just go ahead and assume that I have at least V3. ;D It would be nice to know the actual number though. For example, lets say I am not selected this year and decide to try for Pilot next year, at least I'll know whether or not I should even...
