Would you like to put a ‘Support our troops’ ribbon on your own vehicle?

Ha, that is a good story! It's good to hear that there are some people that decide to leave each other on good terms. I work with a guy who tells me that if he could get away with it, he'd kill his ex-wife. He's dead serious...I'm glad I don't work with him often. It always seems especially...

I wouldn't go as far as the shoes or haircut :S

Commissionaires, CF Announce "Return To Work Program For Wounded CF Personnel"

I know many members of the Corps in Kingston, Ontario and they're all retired CF and cops. I'm the only one without full-time experience, and the only reason I was hired was because I was in the Army Reserves.

Did you get the vehicle or the stickers in the settlement? ;)

    Crazy Edmonton Murder.

I'm assuming that the Grandfather was crazy from day 1, and that he had an entire marriage to manipulate and abuse not only the Grandma, but the entire family. It's no wonder the whole family ended up trying to cover up the act.

p90x to make BMQ PT a bit easier. Good/Bad Idea.

I have done the P90X doubles routine the complete 90 days. The last few weeks are the hardest, the cardio is quite intense at that point. I ended up losing too much weight near the end though, I was not eating enough compared to how much I was exercising. Right now I'm on the P90X classic, but...

"The Hurt Locker" new feature film on EOD/bomb squad GIs in Iraq

I watched it yesterday. I really liked it! I agree about it's slight lack of realism though. The suspense they played in the scene's had me holding my breath a few times. Good flick!

    Living with an OSI.

"It's a cliche, yes, but if there is an elephant in the room when it comes to our military, our police, and our EMS crews, it is PTSD.": ^ I keep hearing it called that more and more. It seems like the help is increasing, but so are those who are afflicted. (not including those who 'fake' it)

    Military Police Assessment Centre (MPAC)

They're busy little beavers eh? I know they need about 130 MP's right now, but is this many MPAC's a year normal?

    All out of Milnet points!

The daily challenges, those are the bottom three bars on my screen when I play right? Below Rank/CR/Milpoints right? I haven't tried for those yet at all. I just figured out that the more CR MAX you have, the faster each individual point replenishes. I'm just gonna throw a ton of my points into...

Would you like to put a ‘Support our troops’ ribbon on your own vehicle?

I've had several taken from my vehicle when I'm parked in public areas and even school. I would give anyone a sticker if they asked for it, but stealing it kind of defeats the purpose of having it in the first place. It doesn't matter though, I'll just keep buying more! It's good to see so much...

    US midterms: Republicans win

You're right JB, as a Canadian I am totally ignorant to what privatized health care is really like. I've always considered health care a necessity, and it criminal that it not be accessible to all people. I'm glad that the US has finally taken the first steps towards a more equal health system...

    Living with an OSI.

I see. Thanks for helping clarify that Puck, I appreciate it. I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what's going on overseas and afterwards. I know that if I get hired as an MP, a lot of my experiences will likely be with men and women who have OSI's. The more I can understand the...

    Living with an OSI.

This is slightly off topic, and if told so I will just create another thread and delete this post: I was wondering if there are specific trades out there that are more likely to get PTSD than others? I know a lot of it depends on what happens that results in getting an injury like that. Cooks...

Guys I really need some advice about my life.... joining the army is an option

My advice is to go to the recruiting office and talk to someone in person. You're doing the right thing by researching a possible career before diving into it. The staff at the recruiting office however will be able to answer your questions and hand you some paperwork explaining what it's like...

    US midterms: Republicans win

^ I love that website. I'm reserving this spot for a reply to those four who just posted. I'm at work so it'll have to wait until break. Edit: I'm not trying to bash the previous president. He was put in an extraordinary situation, and I believe he may have been fed some false information...

    US midterms: Republicans win

Well, it appears as if the Republicans have won the US House. http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2010/11/02/us-midterm-elections.html The American people are pretty short sighted in my opinion. It took eight years to bring the US down, and it can't be fixed overnight. I think Obama has done pretty...
