That is most likely correct. My understanding is that CFRC have the maximum amount of applications for this year because the board makes selections this August 12th. So I won't know about my file until at least then, unless I get a call about my other 2 trade options.

Farley84 was mine... however all my social media got hacked so I changed it. I am currently merit listed because the national selection board does not meet until August 12th. So just like everyone else I am playing the waiting game. And correct there are only 8 positions open nationwide.

I applied for DEO for Health Care Admin, I am told those selections are happening August 12th... not sure if it's just HCA or if it's many trades.

The main thing to remember is that we cannot discuss the CFAT. But if you are alright with grade 10 english, math etc you will be fine

I have not gotten my job offer yet. However I guarantee the CFRC would provide a list of things needed at basic. They are specific in their lists so if it says tooth brush bring a normal tooth brush. If you don't think that they would sell an electric toothbrush in the canex it is a safe bet...

Oh that's very interesting. Because I know as a purple trade I can be posted to land, sea or air. I didn't realize i could be posted to a ship or wing right away.

thanks for the info Wook. I am hoping that I get a job offer after my interview on June 30th and I have the opportunity to do as much training as humanly possible. I love the Supply Tech trade because it goes along with my College and University education. Cheers!

GW, Thanks for that thread. However after speaking with some people who are currently in the NCM trade that I have applied for if I get in I doubt I'll ever want to be an officer mostly due to the job as an NCM seems to be more up my ally with being more hands on boots on the ground.
