    Ukraine - Superthread

Why? Army is basically hanging by a thread at this point. RCAF got their fighters, transports and refuellers. Navy got their new boaty things. Army…..bueller? Do we still need a combat capable Army at this point, because we don’t have one anyway.

Aren’t those better suited for Hawk trainer replacements? Enough of this multi-fleet fighter crap. It’s not going to happen.

Allowances - Post Living Differential (PLD) [MERGED]

You’d have to be really dedicated, or stupid, to stay in the CAF as a non-spec Cpl if you can make $90k civy side in your trade.

Allowances - Post Living Differential (PLD) [MERGED]

Great thread on CAF reddit suggesting non-spec Cpls should be earning $90k. Where is that popcorn... I would at least shoot for $100k. :ROFLMAO:

I don’t know, can the A330 even land anywhere north of Yellowknife, in Canada anyway? Inuvik is supposed to get a lengthened runway and larger ramp. It’s a big aircraft, much bigger than the H Model hercs that went up there.

Hiring immigrants creates another problem, they are willing to work for the lower wages for survival. If employers fill positions with low-wages, why raise them? Welfare assistance for able bodied citizens is the biggest problem.

People forget that going to the gym, lifting weights, doing cardio etc isn't to make things like labor jobs easier. It's mainly for injury prevention and quicker recovery, that's what I use it for anyway.

Hopefully they have skills and a willingness to work outside the comfy indoor office environment. Labor sector is desperate for people.
