    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

Bradford, From what I gathered 4 of those years are your education. Then you have 5 years obligatory service (paying back for university) and the remaining years are just to serve your contract. You can VR after obligatory without having to pay them back, but you will lose the benefits etc had...

I understand RMC has paintball and airsoft clubs. Are you able to keep the equipment in your room? I'm skeptical but I'd rather ask than bring equipment and have it taken away (as happened to a few guys paintball guns at my current university).

Same situation for me bud! I'm in first year mech eng & computing at UOttawa, applying to ROTP in my first year. In grade 12 I had an overall average of around 88 (top 6 final for eng = 83-85, cant remember) but it included a 65 in calculus. Planning on giving my university transcripts to the...

Trade Choices - EME vs EngO

Hello, I have previously searched this but didn't find much info directly pertaining the my question. I applied for EME and Eng Officer. The position of EME appeals to me more as I'll be using my educational background, however I do not want to be in a shop all the time. Not that it's a bad...

    Biomedical Electronics Technologist

I understand the bioscience position, however this does not directly apply to an engineering degree, and I've heard few recruits are accepted per year! If I was to commit to graduate studies, it would be preferably towards an M.D. in medicine and in pursuit of becoming a med officer, rather than...

    Biomedical Electronics Technologist

Hi! Soon to be studying Biomedical Mechanical Engineering at UOttawa! Always dreamed of becoming an army med officer, however I was wondering if there were any jobs available for biomedical engineers. I've only seen positions for mechanical and electrical eng's so far. Any information would be...

    Seeking Guidance for the Future

Hello, This is my first time posting on this forum, so apologizes if I missed a sticky etc. I'm currently a grade 11 student, going into grade 12. I've decided on a career in health care as a physician. My marks are mid 90's so hopefully I can get past undergrad and med with determination. The...
