Any new recruits doing BMQ and SQ in Southern Alberta from July 1 to August 28?

I just recieved a call today notifying me that I am on course during that time. I believe BMQ is Lethbridge and SQ is Waneright, although I could be wrong.

Joining instructions are being mailed out to me. Aparrently there was a screw up down at the armourie and a bunch of guys who are trying to get SQ/QL3 aren‘t going to get it. I am glad recruiting had everything figured out for me, although they did leave it a little late.

A little late? man, you‘ve got like a month to go before course. I found out a week before for my BMQ.

As for SQ, I‘ll be in Wainright on 30 June until 25 July..

Well, you see I was sworn 2 months ago. They said I was one of the first guys to get on course and I would recieve my instructions for the course wthin a matter of days, or perhaps on parade night. Yeah right.

Now I actually have to spend some time getting in better shape.

Well, that‘s the way the army works.. Don‘t be surprised if course details change a couple of times before it even starts.
