Airforce med tech?

joining the forces as a semi-skilled med tech 737, i put on my application form airforce as the element. i'm just wonder if because of that i won't be put in a field amb?

Uniform means nothing in this trade - when I first got to 1 Fd Amb, it was nicknamed HMCS because there were so many navy types there.

Doesn't matter what colour uniform you wear in health services. It's really purple with a distinct undertone of green to it. You will go where you are needed and given that the Reg F Fd Ambs need med techs, its very likely that you will end up there. Hmm HMCS 1 Fd Amb, sounds interesting. Why not HMCS 1 Fd Amb Medical Sqn just to round it out?  ;D
