Before training can you switch from reserve to regular

So, i filled out my application, and did my medical / CFAT / Interview. Have yet to complete my physical though ,i originally applied for primary reserve, i was wondering if you can perhaps switch from reserve to regular before a reserve unit picks you up, or before your even dont your full evaluation.

In short, yes. You can cancel your application for the reserves and apply instead for the regular force. The process is somewhat different.

You need to go in and talk to the recruiting centre as soon as you can.

Is it just a simple talk and switch, or is it a long process? and would i have to refill an entirely new application

Not certain. They may well be able to keep much of your paperwork and make some changes, but I can't say for sure. As I said, you need to go to a recruiting centre. They're best qualified to answer your questions.

To add to what Brihard said, it will also depend what trades you were applying for and what PRes trade you were accepted to.  Some trades (I'm thinking aircrew but there may be others) will require other tests, or other qualification levels for the same tests (e.g. vision, etc.)
