Okay.. 9D and I decide to get a dog. Now the problem is naming it. For some reason, we are getting a Mini Dachshund Pug Mix. Well I want to name him "Killer" and 9D is thinking "Coby"
So what do you think? Any other names are welcomed too.

Call him "ask'em" so when people ask what your dogs name is you can say "ask'em" and really mess with there heads.  Or you can call it "Come Here" so you can save time and breath when calling the dog ie:  "Fido come here" vs "Come Here" see how much faster that would be? Haha  ;D

"Killer Wannabe"?

"Killette"?

"Missy"?

"Twinkie"?

From the proud owner of an Old English Mastiff (110 lbs and growing):  You may call HER "Ma'am"  ;)

PS.  In all seriousness - enjoy your pup, she looks to be a sweetheart - we've found ours to be a joy to have.

Had a neighbour who had a dog named exactly that.
Wasn't too fond of that dog, he pissed on our clothes line.  :-\  Lol
Thats a cute dog you and 9er D have there.

If you really run out of ideas there is always "Dog", pronounced "diogee".  Unless people ask how it's spelt...no one tends to realize that it is just dog with each of the letters pronounced on their own.
haha

Edited to fix bad spelling.

You  mean "he"?  ;D

I'd say Brutus from Shakespeare as the dog will allways take 9D side and stab you in the back.

Magnet... short for "chick magnet" - 9D won't appreciate that...

How about Radar - an homage to M*A*S*H*

... wait a second, you have a wiener dog / pug cross?

You have a Puggy (read: Pudgy) Wiener!!!

Har dee har har!!

Idling in Radio Chatter; with helpful haiku:

dog’s brother buy too
one to be named Julius
the other Caesar

Nice dog.....friend of mine, a Sgt called his dog "Corporal" when he was living in PMQs in Petawawa. It was really funny at night when he went outside to call the dog in the Q patch. An Aritllery friend called his "Gunner."
My wife thinks you should call him Spatcell...you know the German dish...that might not be the right spelling ;D

Just call it Coby, like D9 wants. You'll eventually learn that this is what it'll be answering to anyway, no matter what YOU decide to call it. Besides, you can pretend to be magnanimous as you acquiesce.

This is the best piece of advice you're going to get.
