During weekends that you get off would you be able to say go out and buy a dirt bike even a car when you're back in Ontario doing your Job Training or what. cause I'm going to basic in January, and i would kinda like a little heads up you know thank NE input would be nice...

If you are talking about going on your QL3 ( or DP1...wharever it is these days) then i cant see why not.  If the weekend is off and you are not confined to barracks, you should be able to go buy whatever you want.

Yea I'm going for Infantry Full Time so its .031... So basically I'm saying do people who are on this course use cars like whats the deal here.? Cause I'd like to buy myself a dirt-bike and a car so just wondering how many other buddies would be doing the same thing or very close to. any personal stories would be helpful also.

I would suggest that you hold off buying anything big untill you reach a Battalion.  Weekends off could be spent doing laundry and catching up from the previous week.  When I went through QL3 one of the guys went home on a weekend and came back with his car, our Platoon WO took his keys untill the course was over.
