hi all, this is a really cool site, i've looked through the search and i'm not finding some of what i was looking for about me wanting to joing into the canadian force's. does anybody in the force's produce it's own electronics components for all the elsctronic equipmnet in the force's, i was wondering because i have alsways been interested in electonics and electrical things, i'm finishnig a technology diploma in electronics and would like to use what i'd learned in class to be able to use it in a job. a lot of things that the force's does looks preety cool, especially i think that a lot of stuff is almsot all using electronics in it, what kind of thing could i do that would use a lot of what i've done in school, i'm having done a lot of radios and phones and things that do communication, not so much the wireless stuff for computer networks, don't get me wrong, I like computers and stuff but i like radios and stuff, i now that lots of guys in the force's do things with radios, specialy because i know lots of guys are pretty far away around the world and everything and i'm pretty sure that you guys use radios and sattelites to communicate, what kinds of things to guys get to do besides just hooking up radios and things? i'd like to get doing things that i can use after i serve my time in the force's, maybe starting my own business that specilizes in making communications happen, i think there is lots of stuff other than just phones that would be pretty good to get in to after a few years in the force's. does anyone have any experiences like what i'm interested in doing? also, what kind of training do we need before we get in to the force's? i'm interested in gaming and some other things at home but i now that i wold have to get into shape, it's not like i'm fat or anything but i now i shold do more sports, what kind of things should i do to get in to shape? thanx, matt
