I just got back off leave yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to learn about the run this morning.  This is exactly what the Navy needs, a fleet-wide fitness initiative.

Overall, I had a great time.  I got some PT in, saw some people I haven't seen in ages, and had fun.  It was a welcome change of pace, and I hope this happens every month.

I'm sure there are at least a couple people here who attended.  What did you think?

It was a good run!  Odd though, that it was the Admiral's run and he wasn't there....  In fact, no one from the senior (D100 types) came out....  Lead from the front folks!
