great grandfather was RSM of the RCASC during ww2

hi my great grandfather was the RSM of the RCASC during the last couple of years of ww2. his name was RSM Thomas Hutchison. i really don't know to much more about him and what he did. all i know was that he stayed in england the whole war. if any one has any information about ways i can research his history or the time he was in the regiment that would Be awsome. i know he was in it from about 1930 to 1945. and in another regiment he was in was the Scottish rifles in Scotland from 1916-1919. after the war he moved to Canada  i know he has about 8 medals including the efficiency  medal. well if anyone can provide links of information an the regiment or my great grandpa during ww2 that would be great thank you :cdn:
