How long a wait for DP1?

Hey hows it going, I start at St-Jean in August ill then be going into the infantry. I was simply wondering I know theres an apparent  surplus in the infantry right now so that being said. How much time, on average do you guys think Ill have to wait until getting my DP1 course? From what I heard, were talking about, more or less 8 months, which is fine with me Im just glad to get started!!So anyway thanks in advance and take care!

You will be wanting to do it in the spring/summer, as opposed to the winter.  As far as actually when?  I have no idea.  Concentrate on making it through BMQ first.

I don't know about for prospective RCR or Vandoos, but for prospective PPCLI, the next possible NCM DP1 is either in September or October. If it falls through, there will be nothing till next year.
