I have my fathers WWII Id disc dog tag that I wear as rememberance.    It's starting to wear.    Are there any protective plastic case I can put it in and still wear around my neck ?    ( I have seen similar for us square dog tags).

Note: mine is the non-medal brown asbestos (I think) version.  The hole is starting to wear as is the embossed printing.

Regards,
Peter

Check you local coin shops or on line for a protective coin holder. You'll have to drill it for your chain, but it should work to achieve your aim.
