Hi, We are a belgian unit stationed at KALKAR(Ge). we are trying to find info on a (belgian) soldier that is burried at the Reichswaldcemetary in KLEVE(Ge).
His name is Van Holzaet. Died on July, 15th 1945.
He may be a part of "operation Veritable" around GOCH-KLEVE in Februari-march 1945. Butt, ther where no belgian troops involved overthere. Can someone tell us where we can find any info on this person. He is not listed in the cemetary-book. We already tryid to find him in the database of the Commonwealth War Graves, butt did not find him.
Maybe he was enlisted as a member of the Canadian forces at that time. Where we can find any kind of info related to him? help us please.
Thnx

I took a look in our WWII Book of Remembrance which lists all Canadian Soldiers lost in the war.
I could not find that name in 1945. I gave you the link above so you can have a look through it.
