Aren't all exercises, by definition, "mock"?

That would be pretending to pretend to do something for real.  Is this a TEWT?  ;D

Just completed SMASHEX, it was realistic EX with lots of OGD / Airforce / Navy interaction.

Is Mock Chicken still taste like chicken?

A TEWT is only exercising the "head shed" (without troops).
Exercising troops - even a minimum of troops makes the application of the TEWT label a misnomer
