Processing

[Lebanese Canadian]

I‘ve been told that the processing for canadian citizens who haven‘t resided in Canada for the past 5 years might take a year or more,whereas the processing for those who have resided in canada for the past 5 years ,takes a month.Is that true? And for those who were living outside canada,does the time their processing takes depend on the country they were living in?

I think so. I know that there is someone just took 2 weeks for the secuity check, but for myself (I just live in Canada for 7 yrs), the secuity check took little longer, around 3 months.

but its also depend on what trade are u heading too... reg or rev?? everyone have different situation
