Reserve Units in Winnipeg????

The DND Reserve webpage is down and under construction and I have a friend who would like to know what regiments and units are in winnipeg for reservists. Trades and contact information would be really useful. Thanks.

Someone may know more, but I know that some reserve units in Winnipeg are

The Royal Winniped Rifles (infantry)
The Cameron Highlanders (infantry)
The Fort Garry Horse (armoured recce)

There are also the requisite 17 Field Ambulance Unit and 17 Service Battalion.

You should tell your friend to contact or visit the local recruiting centre. There they should have more detailed information on the local units.

-edit, these are all the listed 38 brigade units for Manitoba, but there are also units of the communications reserve which I am unsure about...

Brandon is home to 26 Field Artillery Regiment, consisting of HQ & Svcs Bty and 71 Field Battery. The Regiment also has 13 Field Battery in Portage La Prairie. 26 RCA benefits from its close proximately to CFB/ASU Shilo (home of 1 RCHA and 2 PPCLI (soon)).

In addition to the army reserve units listed, Winnipeg has Communication, Naval and Air Reserve units.
