Taskings this summer

I got word from unit ops that there isn‘t much tasking going around, so I‘m currently sitting on my hands and waiting for something to pop up.

The question is, is this really true? I find it hard to believe that taskings would be rare.

Also, I‘m looking for a long term tasking until apr/04 so if anyone know of any good tasking, do let me know.

Have you asked around at your unit? Have you put your name in for any taskings yet? At my unit there was a huge list posted of all the taskings this summer, and anyone who wanted one had to send it through the chain of command. Then after you go though the chain of command, keep asking. I thought I wasn‘t going away this summer until I asked about three times if I had a tasking. Turns out they‘re sending me to Pet for 3 months (can‘t wait).

I‘m sure there are a lot of taskings available if you‘re:

1. A MCpl or above (instructor taskings)
2. driver qualified
3. a medic or a clerk

If you don‘t have any of those qualifications, it might be harder for you to find a task, but something SHOULD turn up, in terms of enemy force or demo troop taskings.
