SO, was it reported that a video tape of an Al Jazerra employee stating to Uday Hussein that the station was "his."  Any such reporting in canada about this?
 
No reports that i've seen in canada yet...although I did see this online

Interesting to think that the mainstream arab media may have had quite an interest in the the survival of saddams regime.

Al Jazeera was expelled by Saddam as an agent of the Americans. They've also been expelled from other Arab countries for goring some sacred cows. What is often perceived as an anti-American bias is little different than the pro-American (Republican/neo-Con) slant of Fox News (Fair and Balanced? As compared to the pre-war Iraqi news service perhaps).

However, A-J's staff was drawn mainly from the defunct BBC Arabic service, and they do have a huge pro-Palestinian bias, and thus a strong anti-Israel and anti-US-foreign-policy-in-the-Middle-East-in-general bias.
