I met a corporal today in the line at the bank and we started to chat he said it's easier and faster to join the reserves than it is to join the regular force because recruiters might give you "the by" on some of the more trivial things like, having bad debt and such.

On those points FALSE.

All prospective candidates for the CF (Reg and Reserve) must fill out the same application forms at the CFRC.  That means everyone, no matter what they are joining, will fill out the same Security forms, and BackCheck forms.
