Ukraine - Superthread

Some granular info on what is happening in the Robotyne-Verbove-Novopropivka triangle.

Also, once again, it demonstrates how small scale this fight is. A battle hinges on a couple hundred meters, two Ukrainians and one Russian.

If this is the case, how does one achieve a 'breakthrough' on a level of say, 800m to 1600m gap that substantial numbers of vehicles can push through?

One doesn't? Just keep grinding forwards?

The German's failed in large part due to starvation conditions on their side of the line and the abundance of food and wine on the other side. Their discipline broke and they lost cohesion.

I would caution from making generalizations from a small clip from a video that has been impeded into another overview video.
The R-V-N Triangle has 4 Ukrainian Brigades fighting in it, and while in certain areas there are 1's and 2's, by and large you are seeing Platoon actions as the minimum.

If I'm getting this right -

The R-V-N triangle is about 2 km long on its R-N base and 10 km long on it V-R and V-N sides.

That is the size of the agricultural area between the villages.

It would fit nicely into Wainwright a couple or three times.

The pocket has frontage over a little over 26km, not including the various fingers that are applied for bite, hold and envelope.

The fingers are generally a BN using a Company as lead element.
