What different kinds of uniforms do people in the canadian army wear(not navy or airforce). And do they differ according do occupations, for example, does a medic wear the same uniform as an engineer or infantry ?

Advice to you is to talk to a recruiter the address in Ottawa is 66 Slater. They should answer all of your questions.

For combats and the like, there is no differentiation in uniforms by trade - you can pick out someone‘s trade (to a certain degree, at least) from their cap badge and unit tab. On DEU there are trade badges that specify the individual‘s trade, again there is no real variation in the actual uniform, though different types of units have variations: rifles have black accoutrements and buttons, they also wear a belt over one shoulder with a powder pouch. Armour has their chain mail, and highlanders have their kilts etc.

Ceremonial uniforms have the widest variation, but they aren‘t commonly seen.
