Just thought I'd start some discussion about what kind of things, other than MCSP etc. can be used for unit level training. I'd like to hear from all Fd ambs reg or res to find out what kind of training you do.
I was wondereing about a possible topic for unit training ie) parade nights. As a new section commander last year I was just getting comfortable with knowing what my job was. However I didn't and dont have a very good idea of what my Pl WO does and part of good leadership is knowing the job of your superior so you can take over if need be. No provision was set up for us to get to know what our bosses job is. So my qusetion/suggestion would be do any of you think this kind of training is feesable to do on weekly parade nights?
I'd like to get a few opinions for my info.
