US Patrol Attacked in Afghanistan

No fatalities, but pictures show at least one injured soldier. CTV crew was riding with the patrol of the 1/508 Abn Regiment.

  I saw that on ctv last night......I could tell the boys couldn't wait to get the hell outta there and let the Canadians in to take over.  The terrain really looked perfect for enemy forces to attack the guys.  Also saw a news clip as well that was showing Al-Qaeida groups getting bigger and bigger in certain areas and that they seem to be gaining a new momentum again. 
  It could be a rough go, but I know our boys are up for it.

The 508th has been in the AO since last March so they are looking forward to returning to Italy.
