Going in as an OCdt for the 7 Toronto RCA and
just passed all my tests/interviews a couple of
weeks ago.

I was really really nervous/anxious/curious about
what BMQ would consist of and at least now I
have some idea! (for some reason getting the
recruiter to tell me was like pulling teeth)

Looks like I‘ll have to work on some fitness
(can‘t do more than one chin-up to save my life
at this point) before January 17th!!

Question though, I thought Officers also did SQ
along with the NCMs? That‘s what the recruiter
was saying anyway.

No, your recruiter is wrong. After your BMQ/BMOQ, your course is the CAP(R) - Common Army Phase (Reserve). In SQ the NCMs participate in stuff like section attacks and recce patrols, but in CAP(R) the candidates have to lead the section attacks and recce patrols (and are marked on them).

You should try talking to the 2Lts and Lts of your unit instead of talking to the recruiter because unless s/he is keen, he might not know what the officer stream of training is like.
