What does each rank do?

Private - Soldier
Corporal - Soldier
Master Corporal - Section second in command or Detachment commander
Sergeant - Section Commander
Warrant Officer - Platoon second in command or Company Quartermaster Sergeant (CQMS)
Master Warrant Officer - Company sergeant major (CSM)
Chief Warrant Officer - Regimental sergeant major (RSM) or higher appointment
