The Prince Edward Island Regiment

The Prince Edward Island Regiment is a Reserve Force armoured reconnaissance regiment.

Lineage

The Prince Edward Island Regiment trace their lineage back to The Prince Edward Island Highlanders (25 June 1875) and The Prince Edward Island Provisional Brigade of Garrison Artillery (31 March 1882). Historical Section.

Battle Honours

The Prince Edward Island Regiment has been awarded nine Battle Honours, of which 6 are emblazoned on their Guidon.

The Prince Edward Island Regiment maintain a Regimental Affiliation with their Allied Regiments,

  • Black Watch (Royal Highlanders); and
  • 9/12 Royal Lancers.
