| Four years later Nokia launched the very successful Snake with selected models with 1997. [3] Snake and it is variants has since become on the list of most-played video games which is found on greater than 350 million products worldwide. [4]

| Mobile games are played when using the technology present on the device itself. For networked games, there are various technologies in popular use. Examples include text message (SMS), multimedia information (MMS) or GPS DEVICE location identification. The 1st two-player game for cellphones was a variant in the Snake game to the Nokia 6110, while using infrared port.

| However, there are non networked applications, that simply utilize the device platform to perform the game computer software.
