Canadian Forces Environmental Medicine Establishment (CFEME) is a unit of the Canadian Forces Health Services, which is closely integrated with Defence R&D Canada-Toronto. CFEMEs main activities include: - Medical assessment of aircrew, divers and other CF personnel referred to us for specialized medical assessment. - Aerospace and undersea life support equipment design, test and evaluation - Environmental medical training Operational human factors assessments - Health hazards assessments - Accident investigation (diving and aircraft) - Support to DRDC Toronto research
